2025 final points as of 10/13/25

Most of you know by now but for those who don’t, Carly has decided to step down as director this year. I will be taking over as Director and Samantha Arndt is jumping in with me to be my co-director.
For anyone who doesn’t know me I am from Chassell, Michigan, way up in the Keweenaw, I’m 22 years old, have been a member of NBHA for about 4 years, and I’m excited (and slightly terrified) to be diving headfirst into trying to run this gig! I am just an average joe who works a 9-5, and then some. Just to hopefully wean off any offenses this year I need everyone to understand I am a blunt individual and I will say what needs to be said direct, and to the point, please don’t confuse this for me being rude. You won’t see me much on a horse this year as I sold my previous main mount to start fresh on a new prospect who is just along for the ride this year!
Thankfully Carly took the brunt of the pre-season work so now we just have to roll with the punches of the day-to-day. The schedule is still set to remain the same for the year! (Themed shows we are still deciding on and will keep everyone updated).
All that being said Sam and I are jumping in quite late to the game so please be patient and have some grace! And if anyone out there wants a job to do find me at any race and I’d be more than happy to keep you busy!
Sam would like to take a more “behind the scenes” approach so if anyone has questions, comments, concerns, or grievances, please reach out to me directly via phone call, texts are iffy, and most Facebook messages will be missed.

Important District Updates!
*October 3-5 All-District show WILL count for MI01 year end awards.
*Our shows will now be starting an hour later! Showbills will list times for expos, warm ups, etc. Also please note, shows at Sturgeon River Stables will be CST.
*Pee Wees who wish to compete at State Finals MUST pay a $10 membership fee for the season. All pee wee will be ran on a standard pattern.
*We have now added a NBHA Adult class for ages 19-49! You may run or roll.
*We are always looking for sponsorships! We have some exciting races planned this year and every sponsorship helps us get cooler prizes!

As we are nearing the new year, now is the time to approach businesses for sponsorship opportunities!
We have big goals this year, and every sponsor helps us reach those goals! We have been blessed with supportive businesses and communities and hope to continue to partner with them!
